Seeing as I play games for fun, I'll hang out with the drunken uncle :)
Yes! make less violent games! Now I'm off to play some Gears :/
Apparently he has a girlfriend and he must get money to buy the games from somewhere...a girlfriend who loves him, or rich parents. none the less, he has 3 Enchanted game saves, and 2 bullet witch games. What's up with that?
It's not set in NYC, it's set in Liberty City. So, how can they be upset?
Fun > Innovation. Sorry, but that's why I play games.
"Counter Point -> PS3 already has games out that break the DVD limit of 9 GB. RFOM is one. I'm sure there are other first and second party PS3 games that will leverage the Blu Ray format. Multi-format games will always code/compress to least common denominator for size. If you are squeezing everything to DVD9, then why would Blu Ray be leveraged (whole other argument). "
See the thing is, even if games like Resistance take up 15 gig, it's not justified if you can't...
This is indeed good news for the PS3, and I honeslty don't know who would not have expected the PS3 to sell well at launch. Sure, there may be PS3s sitting on the shelves, but when it's already outsold the rivals, who can complain?
Naturally, the PS trolls use this as another oppotunity o post "XBox sux!LOL" comments. Their trolling is really bringing this site down. Even with their single bubbles, they make the most retarted comments to make sure they have the max...
Sorry, but Sevenout is right. PS2 sales thus far is just over 100 million, and just because Sony sell loads of DVD players and TVs, doesn't mean they are the richest electronics company in the world. They are only recently starting to make a turn round, and their electronics devision in particular, hasn't been doing well for some years. As I said however, they are begining to pick up...but all this is old news.
I think it's also Sony's stratergy. They seem to be focusing on creating new IPs as exclusive (Heavenly Sword, Little Big Planet...mm) and are willing to let their old system sellers go. (DMC4, GTA4...maybe MGS4) After all, these games will still sell on the PS3...
As for the article, I'll treat it as April fools for now...
So, Microsft not have exclusives? Gears of War, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Lost Planet, Too Human, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Blue Dragon, Shadow Run, Lost Odesesy, Banjo Threeie, PGR4, Crackdown, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Forza 2...
Wow! We just wasted time approving the original article, even when it was it obvious it's an April fools joke, and now we've got to discuss whether it's what we think it is...
Interestingly, if the original hadn't made the front page, this would not have even been submitted for approval. WOW! Great job my fellow gamers!
I believe he also said in an interview later, that it would infact be possible. Please, let's not go over this again...
It seems PS fanboys want 360 games...
Haha! This is hilarious...
Expanded lobbies...because I've got so many friends who all want to play together, we never all get into the same room. At least 5 vs 5...I doubt it ould happen though.
Friends in ranked matches, but only on the same team to prevent cheating. New maps, new game types, new weapons, new multiplayer characters...heck, new menus while their at it.
I think a little bit more transparency from Microsoft would have helped, but there's no denying that this "elite" model is severly lacking features. The price is simply too high for such few features. I was going to get it anyway, but seeing as it isn't going to have 65nm, I'll simply wait until the next SKU is announced.
People should complain if it's worth complaining, that way Microsoft can learn, but seriously, PS fanboy's are trying to interprete this as a deat...
Personally, I think the Dual Shock design is starting to smell old, and would like to see something new, but considering the alternative...
And why do they think designing something that gets critisized means it's "innovative" and "avant gaurd"?
Have you read the article? The guy who designed it said himself it wasn't ergonomical...
Of course the early adopters got the raw deal. ALL early adopters get screwed over. What about all those poor saps who paid £300 for a launch PS2 with no games, when they could have waited 5 years for a smaller, £100 PS2 with a massive library of games?
Just a joke OK. But seriouly, all early adopters get the raw deal.
Hang on, since when did none supply count as sales? Surely they're counting the number of units available in shops to how many are being brought? If not then surely the 360s sales drop was higher, since there were none available after the launch?
Was this expected? Ofcourse it was, it only makes all those Sony fanboy's who said the 360 was doomed because the PS3 sold 600,000 units look bad. So how many PS3s were sold? 30,000? Only a week after launch? Rest assured, the f...
